Increasing Community demand for Health services at the absence of a reliable source of funding to expand our facilities and improve our services is a major challenge facing Simaho.
- The Nomadic nature of the target pastoralist Community is also a challenge as their movement negatively affects our mobile outreach services in term of impact.
- Lack of transport facilities to support our mobile outreach activities which is at the core of our services. This problem has made Simaho dependant on its partners or meet the high cost of hire transport as there is no public transport to the rural project areas.
- The escalating cost of drugs and the ever rising poverty levels among pastoral Communities is also a challenge in the sustainability of the cost sharing programme of the Community.
- Rising number of vulnerable groups i.e. PLHIV and OVCs in the absence of ready and reliable donors.
